Main Ideas:
In this article, it briefly explains how 22 FBI appointed officials were accused of "improperly taking" or cheating on the entrance test. Even though the test was open book, the employees were instructed to complete it for themselves and prove that they did. Most of those were accused used and shared other answers, and manipulated a computer system flaw to reveal answers. Many of the officials and employees most likely cheated because they wanted to choose the easy route, instead of honestly being graded for their performance. Most of these cases occured in the Distict of Columbia, and the investigation is ongoing.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, this article points out the corrupt agencies and groups linked to our government and leaders. Although there were very few cases, it still is a problem, because these people are needed to be some of the most honest people in America. Choosing the easy route seems to be a common choice for even the officials of the FBI.

Opinion:
In my opinion, I honestly think it's a big deal that a few employees of the FBI cheated on entrance exams. If they felt the need to cheat, then most likely they don't belong in the FBI. These are the people that are needed to carry out serious investigations and if they cheat and aren't honest, how can their investigations be proven true?

  1. These are the people that play a large role in our country. For them to have cheated on that test shows how some of those that hold government jobs really are.
It is also a problem that it was so easy for them to cheat.

  2. I agree that it seems incredible to have leaders of one of the most important governmental machinery getting their job by cheating.
How can those people do good work when they even had to cheat for getting the job?
I think it should not be to hard to have efficient qualifying examinations.

  3. If those people have to cheat to get into FBI, i don't think they have what it takes to be in FBI. FBI is a very important department in US and if these people get in by cheating, i don't think they can do a good job.

  4. It is appalling that people that everyone has so much faith in and who have civil services in the US would cheat just to get into the FBI. The entrance exams to the FBI should be more monitored because we should not have cheaters monitoring out country. If they cheat to get the job, imagine how much they must cheat to sustain their job.

  5. I think that the test should have been better guarded against cheaters. I disagree that it is not important because these are the people that are guarding our country and they need to be able to pass an enterance exam if they are protecting our lives.

  6. It is amazing how even on a government test that people still cheat. These people are supposed to be protecting our lives and protecting our country and knowing that they need to cheat to get in to their job is ridiculous.

  7. I think the FBI should not be full of cheaters and that they should be re-tested until they pass. If this happened in one place it is probably happening in other parts and there should be a test every once in a while to cheek on there skills. These people carry out important jobs that if they take the easy way out of one thing they might do the same with a life or death situation.

  8. Now the FBI is cheating. This is a good example that these cheating or corruption happens everywhere now. What people think is honest or truthful, is no longer corruption-free. The FBI need to change how they test the new “honest” agents.

  9. There isn't any positive evidence at all, but I'm conjecturing that this cheating case is just the tip of iceberg. It was just the fact FBI did not have any countermeasures for such maneuver yet ...just like human always struggles with the repeating process of ciphering and deciphering in an data encryption. As modern technology spreads around individually, it may be difficult to control the outlaws like them.

  10. This is a serious problem and I hope the FBI is taking it seriously. We learn in kindergarten that cheating is bad, so it is amazing this high in the government thought this was a good idea.
One thing I would like to know is whether all of the people cheated at once or whether this is over a longer time period.

  11. It is shocking that these people were even able to cheat on the exam. For such an important position, something like that should not have even been possible to happen. Also, these people are supposed to be protecting our country and they aren't even honest enough to attempt to get the job on their own merit. Honesty is a vital quality that someone in that position needs to have and it is horrible to think that if they hadn't been caught, they would have such an important job that we all depend upon. The government needs to have a better system for picking people.

  12. The FBI needs to be a very professional and respectable branch of the security of this country. It is a very serious problem that people working these positions cheat their way in. People who work in the FBI must be trusted. It will be very important to create a new testing system that does not allow cheating. The FBI is a large organization that protects this country, we can not have people we can not trust in this organization.

  13. I agree that it is a critical issue for FBI officials to have cheated on their entrance exams. For such important jobs, the test should have been better secured in the first place. But also this paints a picture of what society is like today, and corruption is now a huge part of American culture. People prefer taking the easy way out rather than choosing a route that preserves dignity and pride. It is a shame that even FBI officials have come to this way of thinking.

  14. I think that is horrible that FBI officials have cheated on entrance tests. It shows how corrupt our government is. Who knows how many other government officials have cheated their way into our government. The tests should be given to in separate rooms or have different tests just like schools today.

  15. It was undoubtedly wrong for the FBI to cheat. However, manipulating the computer system to show answers shows a skill that many FBI members should have. In order to catch the criminals, one should be able to think like a criminal. Perhaps stricter security measures should be implemented.

  16. I think that it is horrible that people would cheat on an entrance to the FBI test. The test was open book, there was no need for them to cheat. It's a little scary that the people who are supposed to be protecting us cheat on something as simple as an open book test.
